'Nemesis' of Cresap's Rangers

The other week we had the story of a black man in Roger's Rangers and today we have the story of a man who had a mountain named after him 'Negro's Mountain'. He was apparently a big man with a vision of his own demise. He saved the famous frontiersman Thomas Cresap. Read about him here.
There is an interesting article that is a timeline of Maryland forces during the SYW which mentions references to Cresap's Rangers raiding in Indian attire here.

This portrayal is 2 years in the making. Von Donop 1776. By Marshall Beresford.  Very good. Check out his Facebook page here .
